TORONTO (May 6, 2021) – Going beyond the box scores, headlines, and viral moments, and as announced by host Kayla Grey, TSN launches an all-new series that shifts the discussion around the biggest topics in the sports world: THE SHIFT WITH KAYLA GREY POWERED BY DELL XPS. Launching one week today, Thursday, May 13, and available on a dedicated TSN.ca hub, the series provides a mix of news, short features, panel discussions, and interviews — the kind of content being discussed and debated in the group chat.

THE SHIFT WITH KAYLA GREY POWERED BY DELL XPS focuses a unique lens on Canadian stories and discussions at the intersection of sports, life, and culture. Featuring TSN’s Kayla Grey as Host and Co-Executive Producer, supported by a collective of diverse voices, THE SHIFT brings an original, energetic approach to sports entertainment.

“What I’m hoping the show represents is the shift in sports culture, media, and how we as fans consume and engage with the biggest storylines. The community has always moved the dial on what’s relevant: the ways we discuss, share, unpack, and add nuance to our conversations,” said Grey. “THE SHIFT is a way to provide fresh and different perspectives. These are the conversations that have always been taking place and I’m so excited that TSN and Dell are providing the platform for them to be shared.”

“Conversations in sport are changing, and we’re thrilled to expand the dialogue taking place in the Canadian media landscape with this engaging and authentic new series,” said Nathalie Cook, Vice President, TSN and RDS. “With a dynamic voice at the helm in Kayla Grey, the show will explore the place of sports in culture. TSN could not be more proud to create a fresh new space to discuss the world of sports and beyond.”

THE SHIFT will be available on TSN’s multiple platforms as well as the program’s dedicated hub on TSN.ca/TheShift. The show features breaking news segments, interviews, roundtable discussions, and more.

Kayla Grey is an award-winning broadcaster who appears regularly as an anchor for TSN’s SPORTSCENTRE and a reporter for the network’s coverage of the Toronto Raptors.
